We will leave @8:00 for Rocky Mountain House. Also, please ensure your fuel tank is full before you arrive at Argyll in the morning.
2010 GS Challenge
Date: Friday Aug 13 – Sunday 15th (Rain or Shine)
Agenda:
Friday: (For those that intend to ride their bikes to and from the event).
- 7:00 – 8:00 Continental Breakfast at Argyll Motorrad.
- 8:00 – 8:15 Depart Argyll. Ride to Rocky Mtn. House & check into Hotel or Campground. Drop off excess gear and prepare to ride.
- 12:00 – Ride to Base Camp and Register – lunch will be served under the 30’X30’ Base Camp Tent.
- 1:00 – 5:00 Off-road riding instruction. Individual and team challenges.
- 6:00 – 7:30 Meet at the Base Camp. Welcome speeches from organizing personal and sponsors followed by Dinner (Bavarian Style)
- 7:30 – Evening at leisure – Campfire at Base Camp.
NOTE:
For those that will be driving to the event or riding to the event that choose not to ride from the store, please meet at Base Camp (in riding gear) at 12:00 to register.
Saturday:
- 7:00 – 8:00 A.M. Breakfast at the Base Camp.
- 9:00 – Individual and team challenges.
- 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch – Will be served at Base Camp under the 30’X30’ Base Camp Tent.
- 2:00 – 5:00 Ride trail system (yellow, blue, black).
- 6:00 – 7:00 Meet at the Base Camp. Awards and Special Recognition – Announce 5 finalists for Sunday’s “ride off”.
- 7:00 – 8:00 Dinner (Bavarian Style).
- 8:00 – Evening at leisure – Campfire at Base Camp.
Sunday:
- 7:00 – 8:00 A.M. Breakfast
- 9:00 – 11:00 5 finalists compete to determine a winner of the 2010 Argyll Motorrad “GS Challenge”!
- 12:00 – Lunch
- 1:00 – Departure
